Ludic Landscape
It is a proposal that approaches landscaping from a playful point of view. Where the sensations produced by the inhabited space are transcribed with the help of visual elements.
A subjective representation that relates the imagery of the espaces of our daily life.
Landscaping has historically served as a documentation tool. Thats why this proposal is a collection of data from the context, embodied from a poetic vision. It portrays the 3 areas of circulation where my life unfolded, when lived between Caracas and Los Teques.

Painting my hometown shows an intrinsic emotional charge due to the memories I have built there since childhood. In his book "The Poetics of Space" (1957) the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard, tells us about this affective bond between people and their inhabited space.

This work means the construction of a "sociolectic discourse" taking as reference the term used by the Colombian philosopher Armando Silva, in his book entitled "Urban Imaginaries" (2006). Where he explains how each individual formulates an idea of the city in which he lives based on the interactions he establishes with it.

In this emotional perception of the city, the qualities of the everyday space I go through, have intrigued my gaze enough to make out the context, full of human chaos, the concept of my work.
