I invite you to review the stories that were revealed through this project summarized in its catalog.

In late 2019, I was awarded a grant through participatory budgeting funds in collaboration with the Association Café International Grenoble (A.C.I.G) and the Grenoble Alpes Metropole. This grant afforded me the opportunity to materialize my first international project using painting as a cultural mediation tool to explore the geographical imaginary of the world.

The participatory project focused on highlighting nine (9) testimonies from diverse individuals each coming from a different region. Through the creative activity of painting the pictorial elements of daily life, that is: the colors, shapes and rhythms characteristic of their place of origin, the participants expressed and portrayed parts of their identity and culture.

Ludic Landscape workshop for representing the ecological transition

Fanzine Forum 3.png

From the manufacture of three-dimensional collages, the participants of this event, that took place in the academic campus of Grenoble, were able to express in a plastic way their vision and comprehension of what it is a city in ecological transition.

With his hands they opened a dialogue to re-think new forms of habitat, through the fabrication of structures from images of the intimate work of Pierre Bonnard.

They exchanged their ideas and reflections, over our relationship with the urban world and with nature, as each member of the workshop presented their construction.

These structures were arranged over a model, displayed in the lobby of the main event. The various perspectives of the home in correlation to the urban and its transition to the natural environment were shown.

A Fanzine was later  edited as a tool to divulgate the conclusions of this experience:

Manufacture of Natural Watercolors

Favoring the alternatives de artistic creation more responsible with the environment, the manufacture of watercolors from biodegradable ingredients is an ideal knowledge to share between adults and children.

Thus, having ingredient 100% organic, a pigment laboratory can be created where participants can generate their own watercolors.

In addition to the visual appeal, it is a lot of fun for the participants in this workshop to feel empowered to generate their own painting tools.
